I guess I would enjoy these, they way y'all talk about them.

But, I would require y'all to watch a handful of Andy Griffith episodes in return. It, too, is one the best TV shows ever. You could start with the Malcolm Merriweather episodes 1 2 3 to kinda ease you into the series.

I have a particular interest in this wonderful series because Clive Dunn OBE was actually in my old regiment the IVth Queen's Own Hussars when he was taken prisoner in Greece.

(and not-a-lotta-people-know-that)

Cheers

Ron

Now you're talking.
Bilko's another one I can watch over and over again... except, obviously, for that awful Steve Martin film version.

I wisely avoided that load of crapola. Steve Martin produced an album around 1980 called Comedy is not Pretty. He should have called it Steve Martin is not Funny. The second title would have been far more accurate.

Auditman is on a distinguished road
Heard on the radio today that it is the 40th anniversary of the first episode of Dad's Army today. The surviving cast members will be celebrating the event at the IWM. Long may the repeats continue to be shown and "Put that light out"
