Thumbs up BAEDEKER'S Germany 1936

Dreadfully self indulgent I know but can't conceal my joy at having finally secured a copy of this at a very reasonable price. Many dealers are asking £200-250 for a copy.

Published by Karl Baedeker, Leipzig, this 4.25" x 6.25" book has 528 pages.

This was effectively a special edition for visitors to Germany for the Berlin Olympic Games.

Two folded maps in the map pocket at rear: the Reichssportfeld plan of the Olympic Stadium for the 1936 Olympics and the two-sided color map - Deutsches Reich Strassenkarte.
