Just finished my review copy of this new title.

Thoroughly recommended, especially good for those who are into D-Day & military stuff but do not want to wade through loads of historial detail in every book they have. Some great photos, even some of Cappa's. A good use of new images and archive.

Out beginning April. ISBN 1904449298

Here is some press coverage and forthcoming activity for this title. I think its one to watch

D-Day, Normandy Revisited:

After taking pride of place in their D-Day preview, the Observer is now the most likely paper to take an extract on publication but the Sunday Telegraph Magazine and Mail on Sunday are also strong contenders. The Times Weekend Review are very keen to interview Richard Bougaardt and the Independent are very excited at the prospect of running a different photograph from the book every day for a whole week in their Gallery slot (which sits directly above the daily book review). Saga Magazine is very interested either for extract or feature and The Lady will be interviewing bestselling military historian and author of the foreword, Richard Holmes.

The Guardian have called in D-Day, Normandy Revisited for a D-Day piece they are planning and Two Way Review will be running a double-page feature in their June issue. Channel 4’s Richard & Judy have also expressed an early interest in talking to Richard on the show!
