![]() | Does anyone know any references or books to 6th Airborne pathfinder company(22nd Ind comp) or the Gliderpilot regiment? Both these areas hold a fascination to me. or on a broader scale any regarding 6th Airborne themselves. I have read/viewed 'Go to it' by Peter Harclerode. ta Arm. |

![]() | I know that a number of books have recently come out covering the D-day drops. Sutton publishing have- Orne Bridgehead, there is also a book called "devils own luck" or something similiar. Not sure if this is the kind of thing you are after. You could try www.naval-military-press.com a really good specialist book seller, I think they have a book on the glider pilot regt, though I might be wrong. Hopefully Ryan/salient points will pick up on this thread and be able to give you some advice, he seems to be a bit of a book expert. Ali

![]() | For what its worth I'd particularly recommend Martin Middlebrooks "Arnhem" and It never snows in September by Robert Kershaw. Martin Middlebrook rarely fails with his books and Kershaw's book give a welcome view from the other side of the Arnhem operations. Ali
