Re: Soe

SOE: The Scientific Secrets by Fredric Boyce and Douglas Everett:

& Secret Agent's Handbook: The WWII Spy Manual of Devices, Disguises, Gadgets and Concealed Weapons by Mark Seaman:

Are both excellent, the first a study of the advanced technology used, following the careers and innovations of particular artisans within SOE, the latter a facsimile of the catalogue of devices available to agents. Some of which are quite mad.
Cheers,
Adam.
