![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | German Sniper Training film. Fascinating English translation of a German training film, 'how not to be seen' done properly: YouTube - German WW2 Sniper Video part 1 It's in 7 seperate parts, just follow the 'explore more video' links to the right. Well worth a shufti. "Straight ahead. 300 metres, a conspicuous tree!" .... a Larch perhaps? Cheers, Adam. |

![]() ![]() | Re: German Sniper Training film. I remember an episode of "Combat" years ago where one of the soldiers was a Botanist and could pick out the snipers due to their camouflage not matching their environment.

You chose dishonor and you will have war." (Winston Churchill made this prophetic pronouncement in a House of Commons speech in 1938, just after Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich agreement with Hitler. Chamberlain returned from Germany with the signed agreement in hand, proclaiming that "peace in our time" had been achieved. Churchill attacked Chamberlain's "politics of appeasement" in this and many other speeches.) What did the Australians do in ww2 and other conflicts?
