While I think this is a fantastic movie, I don't think I could take 10 hours of it at an overnight sitting. Fortunately, I have it on video from when it was shown on BBC years ago.

Got my machine all set up to record - don't think I could face an all nighter either! I watched it first time around can still recall huge chunks of it bcause it made such an impact on me.

Yes, some of it is simply unforgettable, which is surprising given the simplicity of the methods used to make it. It shows you do not need huge sets and high production values to make a masterpiece if you get the fundamentals right.
