Doess anybody have any info on the 77th L.A.A Reg Royal Artillary Indian/burma and was it attached to the chindits. Family rumour Has my grandad serving with them (two uncles)
Does anybody know what CTBA to 13 AA Bde means I know the AA part not the CTBA.
I just received my grandads service record and I`m trying to decipher it and make sense of it.
Thanks

Found one internet reference to CTBA meaning 'ceased to be attached',?? apparently still in use in RAF parlance:

Quote:
"if you are detached from your Unit and attached to another Station for a training course etc, the day you finish the course and return to your Unit You are 'Ceased To Be Attached' to the training Unit."
