Tank battles during the retreat from Burma

Were there any tank battles during the retreat from Burma in 42? If there were, did Allied forces use american or british tanks? What kind of material were they up against? Type 95īs only? Just recently I read about a couple of RTRīs and some Hussars units involved, but didnīt find info on the kind of hardware they used.

There is an excellent description of a tankmans experience of one firefight during the reteat in The Long retreat by James Lunt I think, whereby the tank commander gives a heartstopping account of his tank being hit and how he rescured a crew member. Indeed an M3 Stuart of the 7th armoured.
