Most detailed Eastern front map - where?

Recently I started to read Brian Taylor's book, "Barbarossa to Berlin", which follows the Russo-German war day by day in detail. I really want to follow the events on the map as well, but so far I could not find a very good, high resolution, detailed map on the Eastern front. I searched the web, but either I find overview maps, or maps of a particular section of the front.

Does anyone know a good, high resolution, detailed map of the Eastern front, available for download?

P.S. I managed to come up with a "backup" solution: I made a jpg file from TOAW (The Operational Art of War) Barbarossa scenario, which is fairly detailed, although "only" a computer game map.

Welcome to the forum Mikeeboy.
I too have both Volumes of that work. I found it a good introduction to that war.
I concluded that the Eastern Front is so huge that one map isn't good enough.
After all that would be like having NW Europe , the Italian campaign & Desert War on one map too.
It's just too big.

What a tall order! Start at Operation Barbarossa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and follow the links, for instance.

Try this link. Maps from the West Point Atlas of American Wars are among the best "generalist" maps of the war.

Hmm.. I think we have different point of view on the term "detailed" map.
for me "detailed" map is topographic map of 1:100,000, or preferrably 1:50,000 scale. both of those, represented in the Central Archive of the Ministry of Defense of Russia (TsAMO) are both VERY expensive, or even secret.
you can take a look at some general battle schemes of operations on the site
RKKA.RU
Also my site
RKKA in World War II contains a pack of more detailed battle schemes
Also you may draw attention to the FLASH-animated map here
