The treatment of war wounds is an ancient art, constantly refined to reflect improvements in weapons technology, transportation, antiseptic practices, and surgical techniques. Throughout most of the history of warfare, more soldiers died from disease than combat wounds, and misconceptions regarding the best timing and mode of treatment for injuries often resulted in more harm than good.......

I'm asking a bit of a cheeky favour here, incase anyone gets bored and wants something to do.

It appears some files/ war diaries of units that were in France between Sept. 1939 and June/July 1940 are not listed under the BEF section of WO 167.

Anyway my favour is if anyone comes across any units outside of WO 167 could you please post them in this thread so I can add them to the list of units to copy. I've noticed there appears to be no Royal Army Medical Corps formations list in WO 167 like Field Hospitals, Casualty Clearing Stations and Field Ambulance units which makes me think there are others that are missing too.

Any help, as ever is mucho appreciated.

Cheers
Andy
