In every project or business undertakings there are several shannigans or scum bugs....treasure hunting, banking, fund hedge, mining, politics, real estate, ...endless shannigans business or projects...
However, it does not mean....one legitimate treasure roject is already a scum....

Ex: How can anybody be sure...the presence of buried treasure ?

Solution: Use hi-tech geophysical survey instruments and borehole drill to reconfirm the presence of treasure...just like mining companies confirm the presence of gold dust/ores...that way you will not be conned of fake treasure site.....no treasure, no diggings, no expense....as simple as that !!

You may also want to read on up geophysical engineering, geophysical archeology, and a few other technical matters before you come back with a response. You may find that if this was at all possible, the "evil multinationals" would have already have used this cheaper method rather than opencast mining. Now go away, because I'm bored with this thread.

p.s. as an aside, please don't use terms like "Japs" - it's Japanese or Nipponese.

...THINK IT OVER...USE YOUR HEAD........there are several type of treasure sites....smaller ones are shallower 30-50 feet deep.....the big volume ones are deeper (200-300 feet deep) and more difficult....

Why it would take century to recover them all?
...its scattered all over the Philippines...some in remote areas...some in towns or had commercial areas already....if you are an American or Japanese group and wanted a covert or secret treasure hunting operation (which they usually do for several decades now) use a disguised/alibi as mining... and you do not want to tell to the land owners its buried secrets (the owners will not cooperate if somebody will take their treasures, specially by foriegn groups)....HOW THE HECK CAN YOU MINE A COMMERCIAL AREA...OR TOWN?. ..therefore...the treasures will remain buried for decades/century until it would be discovered accidentally... Thats why the Japanese would have diffuculty to recover all buried treasures sites and may take a century.... specially in private land areas bcoz its already beyond their control. Some greedy land owners are non cooperative, they would rather dig it for themselves rather than in partnership with foriegn group.

The topic does have it's place on a World War 2 forum however the manner in which you present your hypothesis (for the sake of argument) is irksome, rude and predjudice to say the least.

You have not succeeded in effective debate or rebuttal as you have not shown one skerrick (ounce) of supportable proof, as your statements are continual rhetoric, hearsay and slur of the industrial nations that emerged following WW2.

You lost my support when you refused to accept that Ferdinand Marcos was guilty of using his Presidency to rape the coffers of the Philippine people.
