Remembering today..........

Today is the 63rd anniversary of the shooting down of Lancaster HK552 KO-J, part of 115 Squadron Bomber Command. 6 members of the crew never returned to these shores and are now buried in Montchauvet, France.

Remembered to day with honour:-

626388 F/Sgt Tom Bamford RAF
1853794 Sgt Frederick Morgan RAFVR
1891923 Sgt Albert George Edward Mount RAFVR
1853985 Sgt Victor Frank Scrivens RAFVR
1399911 Sgt Ralph Stallwood RAFVR
418889 P/O John Edward Todd RAAF.

Today, I shall raise a glass in memory of all those brave men of Bomber Command

Steve

Got to be honest Owen, not one of mine. It was taken VE day 3 years ago, by a relative of one of the crew
