Kyt is a bit shady
Sorry GH but the Brabazon is just sooooooooo damn ugly The Buffalo was like the plucky Tommy - uncouth, rough around the edges, often up against superior forces, but fought gallently to the end.

SD - no, I don't think GH intended only WW2 aircraft but I'm not much of a fan of post-war aircraft.

If any aircraft then I'd have to go for the Tornado GR1. Beautiful aircraft. Just heard they're gonna be replaced by the Eurofighter as the main aircraft to protect Britains skies. Don't know how reliable the source is though.

I thought they were all upgraded (or in the process) to GR4s, and that the GR4 was to be retained in service for some time.

This is a good Tornado site:

WELCOME

Dunno mate. Watched a thing on TV yesterday presented by James May from Top Gear. He got took up to be flung about in a Eurofighter. He just mentioned that they're gonna be replacing the Tornado.

Yes it is. My father was on 120 Squadron flying in Libs during the war. The squadron now operate with the Nimrod, a fantastic aircraft, been on one a couple of times.

Well then, add the Tomcat, Warthog (talk about an ugly aircraft) and the Harrier.
