Iwo Jima - 2nd Flag Cropped.jpg
My favorite, for obvious reasons. This is one of the first pics from the war I can remember seeing. I thought at the time the "army men" were trying to hold the flag up to keep it from falling. I was about 3 or 4.
F6F Hellcat - Burning on Carrier Deck.jpg
The sailor climbing up onto the plane has one large set of kahunas. Look at what he is standing on.
British 75mm Pack Howitzer - at Arnhem.jpg
British pack 75 at Arnhem. I wonder if these men made back.

After all isn't war 99% boredom?
