Not sure whether I'm allowed to highlight this as it's for sale, so sorry in advance!

I've just seen this on ebay, amazing if it's the real thing!

hhhmm,wot a stinker.Theres a choice of two options here,A,its a knocked up repro con job or B,someone has been a total scumbag,not to mention lawbreaker and stolen this from the site. actually another is the equally unapealing prospect that the whispers of ,ehem,misdeeds going on at the museum are true....

A load of bulls..t this helmet it is amazing how many helmets turn up lately with nice written names in it, but always the former owner was killed or recently past away.

I have found 10 helmets myself in the arnhem/oosterbeek area and in only there was a name but its was scratch in the letter.
I know of other people who have found helmets, but in only another 2 cases a name was found.
The sellers are the same as those who sell repro for real!

And what sort of condition were all these helmets found in? Enquireing minds wish to know. Also,isnt going round digging things up ,er,sorta illegall verging on grave robbing?

most were in reasonable condition after 60 years under ground, yes but I have permission to search with detector
