![]() | Medal cards: I'm not sure any of the medal cards fit. The name SHOULD be Cecil Philip Ross. Were any WW1 records destroyed? Age: I think he was born in 1890. He would have been 24 in 1914. Does his age affect what he would have done and where? Empress of Russia: The immigration record for the SS. Empress of Russia seems to show the 1890 born Cecil travelling out of Van Couver June 1918 on this boat recruited for apparently 2 missions in WW1. I was hoping to find more details to confirm his activity - but there do not seem to be surviving service records. |
