![]() | Auxiliary Coast Guard I'm doing a bit of research on my family tree and after talking to a relative I found out that one of my ancestors served with the Auxiliary Coast Guard during the war. Where there any records kept for this service or indeed the home guard for Northern Ireland? The relative in question recieved the Defense medal for his efforts, to go with his medals from WW1.
