As I've posted these I've just realised that maybe some kind person out there could help me to restore the creased picture, I'd be most grateful

The other picture is with his Dad my Gt Grandad a WW1 Lancashire Fusilier although he was from London, badly injured you can make out the injured arm, he named Uncle Paddy after his brother who died in Ypres 20th Feb 1915 at the Bluff

Soren, your Uncle Paddy with the Indian chap? Your uncle has his right hand bandaged, may have been at a field hospital. The young lad in the background and the Indian may locate them in Egypt. The Indian headdress is also a clue because I have never seen any photos of this headdress in any of my fathers photos from Egypt and Siwa.

The creased photo is too low a resolution for reproduction purposes, needs to be at least 700kb, not 70kb. I would like to have a go at it tonight. I usually takes me about two hours unless anybody knows a shortcut?
