On the way home from a visit to my Aunt in South Australia (More info to be posted on The Great War Forum) my wife and I stopped at Ballarat to have a look at the new POW Memorial. Well, it is both impressive and moving, especially when you see the names that as a child one read about. I have a few more pictures but this one gives a good general view from the Lake Wendouree side of the road. It was taken this morning at 0900hrs.

Good to see you here too Peter. We stopped at this memorial on our trip round Vic - very impressive as you say. Ballarat's memorial archway is also very impressive.

regards

Charles
