![]() | I think it's great but then us in here would As to what the attitude would be today if the same thing happened, well I think you can never recreate something as emotional as war and fighting for your country. Perhaps the cold, wet, ironing and shouting wouldn't matter in a real situation to those porr soft-lads. I appreciate 'father teds' viewpoint in the last episode - in real life you would not have been able to say 'no its too cold' and decide not to swim across a freezing lake...unfortunately that seems to have already broken the camaraderie between the group - those that will and those that won't. I shall continue to watch with growing interest. Ryan

![]() | It's interesting enough in its way, but I bet they wouldn't wimp out so much if they were training for a real war, or even if they were hoping to earn a living in today's regular forces. I thought it was fairly pathetic last week when some of them backed out of getting wet and cold.

![]() | I haven't been watching this program, but how many of you would be happy to swim a cold river either without your clothes on (to keep them dry) or clothed (knowing that you'll be wearing cold soaking clothes for some time) with no prospect of nipping off to a nice changing room in which to warm up afterwards? Ali PS I know they volunteered etc, the question is would you?
