Hi, I have ordered a new badge for my officers cap. The one I took off is on the right, it has two clasps to hold it on. But I think the one I've ordered is like the one on the left with one big clasp. Why are there two different kinds, also will I be able to attach my new badge ?

I see you have asked this question"On the other side" too!,providing your cap isnt a period piece,I would advise if possible, unpicking the central seam a short way to accomodate the slider of the replacement badge, which is the normal Slider type fixing for O/Rs Badges, the Bronzed Finish Oficers badge has the correct "Blades" fixing, which was pushed through the Material{along a seam if possible} & folded gently back to retain it

Thank's for the help. I'm to believe my cap is a WW2 piece, would that make a difference to fitting the badge ?
