I'm more than a little surprised I haven't seen this topic already. Obviously all of us here are WWII geeks and most of us probably haven't fought in this great war. There are several good video game titles for the PC out now. These games are definitely not for kids, some are very complicated and a youngster might have a lot of trouble figuring out simulated combat, not to mention several control buttons on a keyboard . I've played several and found a few of them actually very engrossing. These video game manufacturers are pumping big-time cash into these games and it shows. If anyone plays any of these games, speak up!

My personal favorites are....'Hidden and Dangerous 2', and 'Brothers In Arms', both are very realistic. Download the demos and try em out, heck it worth a try, demo's are free

I'm a confirmed Battlefield1942 and Medal of Honor Junkie here. I have also played Sudden Strike and ALL the Close Combat games, A bridge too far being the best of those. Me likes WWII games!!!

I played BF1942, was interesting for a little while, but couldn't hold my attention longer than a month <_<

'Medal of Honor' on the other hand is a very good WWII game .
If you like 'Medal of Honor', you'll LOVE 'Brothers In Arms'. My favorite part of that game is sneaking up on a Panzer, climbing on top of the turret and chucking a 'nade down the hatch. BOOM! It's a fun game, check it out

Oh...and for a nice change, the weapons actually sound like the real deal!

Stich, Battlefield is definitely a "Leave your brain at home for an hour" kind of game . The online element is fun though!

I'll have to try Brothers in Arms though!

I found an interest in Call of Duty and even bought the expansion pack, but have to admit to cheating as the hand, eye, mouse co-ordination is just not there for such a fast moving game!

What about Day of Defeat?
I have played all of the above mentioned games, but Day of Defeat is the one I continually play and have for almost two years solid.
