I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I would go about finding past family member that where in the service. My son Andrew is in the JROTC in high school and was wanting to find out more about our family. I is plaining on going into the service after school. I would love to help him do this for him. If you can help me please let me know. Thank you.

Start with the National Military Personnel Records Center in St. Louis. They have a web page. However, they lost a lot of records in a 1973 fire, so be warned.

Good luck in your quest and welcome to the boards!
