![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Elefants on LOST TV Series. This is an email from my mate Andy of Z-Panzer fame. Has anyone watched "LOST" on TV and did you see a pair of Elefants? Quote:

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Could they have been 2s3 sp Howitzers?: http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/row/2s3.htm (The site for modern and past weapons info.) Quite Elefant/Ferdinandish? EDIT: (or even the M109??...in fact quite likely the M109, very similar with Gun depressed.) Just double checked Jentz, Doyle & Chamberlain and only only 90 Elefant/Ferdinands produced. Quick Web-shufti seems to show only 2 survivors (1 in 45 seems quite a good rate to me.) at Kubinka and Aberdeen, there may be more? Last edited by von Poop; 19-05-2006 at 11:01 AM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yep, those are Ferdinand/Elefants (something to do with whether they have a front machinegun to tell the difference, can't remember) too distinctive wheels to be anything else and it even looks like they're painted in a scheme the one at Aberdeen Once wore. Looks like the back end has been fiddled with during the CGI. Is that the front of an M3 halftrack poking round the corner? |
