Elefants on LOST TV Series.

This is an email from my mate Andy of Z-Panzer fame.
Has anyone watched "LOST" on TV and did you see a pair of Elefants?

Hi Moose,
I see you are a real regular on there with 776 posts!

As for a new little armour mystery for the forum, have you seen lost, series
1?

On episode 9, exactly 8 minutes in there is a flashback to Sayids time in
Iraq. At the military depot there are two Elephants (not the big grey things
with trunks but the big yellow things with 88's)....they look like the real
thing to my eye. I'd love to know where they are and how they got there.

Ask your forum chaps, go on!

Could they have been 2s3 sp Howitzers?:

Quite Elefant/Ferdinandish?

EDIT: (or even the M109??...in fact quite likely the M109, very similar with Gun depressed.) Just double checked Jentz, Doyle & Chamberlain and only only 90 Elefant/Ferdinands produced. Quick Web-shufti seems to show only 2 survivors (1 in 45 seems quite a good rate to me.) at Kubinka and Aberdeen, there may be more?

Tell Voon Poop "No no no no no no no no."
They are either a) The real thing b) very very good mockups or c) CGI (but
why CGI a WW2 tank when WW2 tank not really required).
It's still a bloody mystery.

Yep, those are Ferdinand/Elefants (something to do with whether they have a front machinegun to tell the difference, can't remember) too distinctive wheels to be anything else and it even looks like they're painted in a scheme the one at Aberdeen Once wore. Looks like the back end has been fiddled with during the CGI.
Is that the front of an M3 halftrack poking round the corner?

So do you think the person they employed to do the CGI was a Panzer nut and was having a joke on the TV makers?

I hope so.
But having watched 10 minutes of the drivel anything could happen...
What's down the hole??
A plot hopefully.
