I see that Pte T.V.Venn , Wiltshire Regiment, missing since 2 October 1944 was buried at Oosterbeek yesterday.
I've seen some photos here, http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8824.
Any more info coming on this site about him?
Cheers Owen

we arrived back late Wednesday. Thursday was catch up day and today I was at the National Archives researching their records for another set of remains the Royal Netherlands Army are seeking to identify. You slave driver you. I have around 100+ images from which I will select a few and get them up on the news page.
ZZZZZZZzzzzzz
Lots of images here, scroll down a bit though.

"You were given the choice between war and dishonor.
You chose dishonor and you will have war."

(Winston Churchill made this prophetic pronouncement in a House of Commons speech in 1938, just after Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich agreement with Hitler. Chamberlain returned from Germany with the signed agreement in hand, proclaiming that "peace in our time" had been achieved. Churchill attacked Chamberlain's "politics of appeasement" in this and many other speeches.)

The other one that they found will most probably be identified later this year, when he was found he still had his helmet, with the Wilts Regimental Flash on it, which made it a little bit easier to start with
