British Military Hospital Munster

I am trying to find out about the old Military Hospital in Munster Germany.
When was it built, was it a Nazi hospital? as I have seen what I believe are underground Operating theaters below the old wards.

So any information would be of great intrest

Hi,

I left a similar posting for someone else who was looking for other information but it may help you too:

"t may be worthwhile contacting the Army Medical Services Museum, who may have access to records of hospitals used:

Sounds perhaps ridiculous but actually I would contact the Muenster town archiv:
http://www.muenster.de/stadt/archiv

Or try the university Muenster, the department for city history:
http://www.uni-muenster.de/Staedtegeschichte/

If there was a Nazi hospital they will know it and tell you.

Cheers
Knut
