In those years Austria and Germany were like Iran and Iraq now.Every one is free to like whatever nacion he feal more like motherland.Look at me for instance i like Russia as much as i like Bulgaria. In the ww1 he fight for he Germans and he was a hero even because he survive in the bloodiest battle of 20 century. If now Russia start a war many Bulgarias will go to help. Its the same like Austria and Germany.
No one know Hitler but you(even me) talk like you were close friends with him and observe him really closely. What he done what a man he was in his personal life is myth no one can and no one should try to understand.

About why so much people balived him its simple. The people in the past were more "stuped" and they dont care about killing a people the human life those years was not so importand. In the past people die for the fun of outhers. This is only one of the reasons.

Human life in those years was not important? And when did 'we' begin to stop acting as savages? Please read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jos%C3%...%C3%A1n_Astray , the chapter 'Confrontation with Unamuno'.

Dont forget that in the Roman Empere people were trown to fight with lions or outher people to death.
In Spain and France people were burn alive because they say something thats agaist 'the understanding' of the church.
Childrens were used in Vietnam for bombs and soldiers.People in the muslim world are killed with rocks just because they looked a woman.
In ww2 the death of 6 milion jews was just a number.
There are many like those. And do you think that the human life was importand?

You know, it's quite a jump in time from 'In those years Austria and Germany were ...' to the Raoman Empire, and from Europe to the Muslim world. Onions are onions, cucumbers are cucumbers.

I've always wanted someone who could lip read to tell me what the men in old Great War footage were saying.
There was a show on here (around Nov. 11) that had a forensic lip reader "read" what some of the men were saying during the first day of the Somme.
