Browsing through a German site on Arnhem I came across this article on German War correspondents: Defending Arnhem © 2006

Seems they were required to be soldiers first and Correspondents second. Is this the case on the Allied side?

Not sure if I am aloud to do this but this year I did a booklet about Anthony Cotterel a War Correspondent murdered after the battle of Arnhem.




They were however first correspondents and then soldiers
