Magda Goebbels was a fanatical Nazi and chose to follow Hitler in self destruction. While Goebbels was a womaniser who often proposed divorce,Hitler kept the couple together by refusing acceptance of Goebbels to divorce Magda.

Goebbels was a fanatical follower of Hitler and proclaimed that a miracle occurred when in April 1945,FDR suddenly died.German fortunes would change for the better was Goebbels encouragement to Hitler.

Magda was always focussed on the good life and power.This led her to marry the Quant the industrialist as a 20 year old and then abandon him when she was drawn into the attraction of National Socialism with the company of Goebbels as the conduit.Later in the war she was attracted to Karl Hanke, an up and coming young Nazi who had caught Hitler's eye.Hitler in the closing stages of the war appointed Hanke to Himmlers offices but he was unable to assume Himmler's throne as he was beleaguered in Czechoslovakia after acting as Hitler's fireman in the defence of Breslau.
