 | I visited Auschwitz- Birkenau the summer of 2006, and thought I would put up some pictures here. Anyway, we drove all the way from the middle of Sweden down to Auschwitz in the south of Poland. But it was well worth all the hours on the road. I thought I was mentaly prepared of what I was going to see in the camp, but man.. I mean, you can read so much about the holocaust and Extermination camps, but you don't really get it unless you have been to a camp. But I'm not saying that I understand what it must have been like on Auschwitz just beacuse i've been there 60 years later, not at all. Anyway here are some of the pictures i took. | Thanks for those pictures. We should never forget! For such a short period of time, it must have been hell on earth. (shame about the shorts!)

'The next raid we go up to intercept, we will do a head-on attack,' he said. So he attacked an Me 110 head-on and I'm afraid Jerry got the better of him and all we found of him was his shirt!  | I visited Auschwitz in 2001 The thing that got to me were the shoes including a childs shoes with callipers similar to the ones I wear.found myself outside the block saying i cant do this Its the detail of the suffering rather the scale of it If you have the opportunity go and wander and wonder how? |
