![]() | From the BBC: Town honours man who saved Jews Town honours man who saved Jews Residents of a Somerset town have raised £20,000 for a statue to honour a man credited with saving thousands of Jews from the Nazis. Frank Foley, who was born in Highbridge, issued false passports to Jewish people while working at the British embassy in Berlin in the 1930s.
