 | Auschwitz "death books": request for sources These registers, which were found in Soviet archives, record the deaths of registered inmates of Birkenau. In other words, they record the deaths of people who passed ramp selection, but not those who were sent directly to be gassed, the majority of those who died. The figures from these registers are misused by the deniers who quote them as the total Auschwitz deaths and there are certainly figures showing on denier websites. But what I am looking for is an untained source which I can use for research and be able to quote with confidence. Does anyone know one please?
