2 Sherwoods Memorial Anzio

This is in the grounds of the Anzio Museum. It says it was moved in off the battlefield. Anyone with any further information on it?

Found this photo from 1989 when it was at Villa Claudia.
Reading the text looks like memorial was erected in 1952 and moved to that site for 25th anniversary and moved yet again for the 50th one.
So it's in it's third location.

Why would they continuously move it around? I would have thought that these are normally kept at the appropriate site where the event took place.

Good find, Owen. Strange that it was moved as that site looks quite country-fied.
