I'm trying to research an item I found recently to the 29 RAF Fighter Squadron. It's definately a WW 2 item. It has the names of 6 of the members of the Squadron, as well as some extremely well done drawings of them, more like portraits. Would like to find someone interested in the item, as my interest is CEF WW one. Grandad was KIA with the 18th CEF Battalion on Aug. 26, 1918.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Mike,

I saw your post on the WWI forum, like you I've just joined this forum.

Can you post any images of the item?

There are ways of finding info out, here are some other links to 29 Sqn.

This is an address to their veteran's association:

29 Squadron
D M Holliday,
Orchard End,
Two Dells Lane ,
Ashley Green,
Chesham,
Buckinghamshire
HP5 3RB

It might be an idea to write to this guy as he might be able to point you in the right direction.
