A note to the administrators

After changing my email address, I've had to contact you admins to let you know I've had problems with avatar, user cp picture, posting and Pm's etc.

Just to say I've got it sorted. That new member 'marky69x' is me in case you didn't guess. I tried registering again to see if it would let me post a 'help' thread. Just ignore him, he won't be making any posts on here.

What happened then Marcus?
Always interested where things go wrong so I can see if there's a way to avoid it happening to anyone else.

Is it OK if I remove the Marky ID now?

Aye take the marky id off. I didn't realise at first that i had to wait for email confirmation before i could use the forum privilages again. So i was sat there unable to contact anyone about it. Then i tried changing the email back which didn't work. So I thought I'd try registering again but still had to wait for confirmation.

By this time I'd realised what the problem was, so I used an old email for 'marky', changed the email again for marcus, confirmed the email and now I'm back.

Strewth, what a pilava. lol. But i'm all sorted now cheers. Just got a little worried for a mo.

Long as it's all sorted mate.

I'll make a test ID and fiddle with it's email so I can see exactly what the forum software does during such changes, then if needed improve the advice given in the address change box.
