This is on the extremeties, I will check out for more in town shots later.
This photo shows Montgomery visiting one of the gun crews (C Toop) that defended his HQ during the Battle of El Alamein.
The photo shows Sgt Bob Balmer and Monty at the end of the jetty in Benghazi. The date was 29 November 1943.
