You're quite welcome, Owen. I've got the war diary of a French unit (artillery, if I recall correctly) that spent some time at Semide and Orfeuil in June 1940 (I presume this would be about the same period that the German was there as (if memory serves correctly), they had to "bug out" pretty sharpish). I'll post images from that on here if I can find it.

Another artillery unit's diary is available online (somewhere!)

Another piece of Great War interest (amongst myriads in the area!)... the 38cm Lange Max Kanone emplacement just to the north of the cemetery...
