Always interested to hear from people with information, photos or an interest in this unit - or any veteran contacts.

Paul,

Is there anything particular you may be needing a pic or info on as I live round the corner from the RSX museum as I think you may already know from GWF.

Thanks Ryan - I have already explored that avenue, but I would appreciate the addresses of any local Royal Sussex associations that might have veteran members - suggest you email me.

Paul

I have a couple of photos of a Royal Sussex officer from WW2. Don't know his name, but you might recognise him?

Not even sure if he was with 1st bn, but one of the two photos has a French language, north African?, back. In that photo he is wearing Battledress, with no visible badges.

However, in the other photo he is wearing Service Dress and is clearly in the Royal Sussex.

As soon as I am settled in where I am going I will look for these photos and let you have scans.

Cheers

Thanks Tony - I think it will take a while for this forum to get started. The webmaster could do with advertising it on some other sites, but I suspect once it gets logged by Google etc it will soon grow in popularity.

Look forward to seeing those photos.
