David Seymour is on a distinguished road
Does anyone know who, or which unit, shot down Lancaster LE-F, 630 Sqn. RAF, during the Etampes raid on the night of 9/10 June 1944? The aircraft was attacked by a German night-fighter which, after a second pass, left the Lancaster engulfed in flames. The aircraft crashed at Omerville, 7km WSW of Magny-en-Vexin.
Thanks for any help.
Regards,
David
