Thumbs up Help identifying these coat insignias!

Hey First post here!
I recently bought a coat on eBay, saying it was a German WW2 Military coat. Being a bit of a WW2 buff, especially for German stuff, I was very interested. The seller couldn't find information on whether it was issued or not (it appears to be; has a fair bit of wear on it) or what the coat patches meant.
If it's any help, the company who made it is called "Striwa". Date and stuff are rubbed off to being invisible.
It's a fairly long coat, about the length of the SS jackets - mid thigh length. I initially thought it could be a Kriegsmarine jacket, but after looking at Wikipedia I found their jackets to be much longer.
Without further ado, here is a picture of the sleeve.

I'd appreciate any help. Thanks a lot!

I don't know much about insignias but I'm sure some of the guys on here will be happy to share their expert knowledge.

Look forward to your posts.

The insignia doesn't look German (it's not in my book of WW2 German insignia). Firstly, the anchors on German insignia had barbs at the ends of the anchor, and secondly there isn't one that I can find with a key through the middle in that configuration.

It maybe post war.

Hey, thanks for the quick replies and the welcome!

In advance, sorry for the blurry pictures. I have kinda shakey hands and my camera's not too good.

To Von Poop:
The coat is definitely German; there is a patch on the inside with instructions and materials written in German. Here's a shot of that for the hell of it :P

(If it's any help, the coat is made of 65% polyester and 35% "Baumwolle mit Silikon-Ausrüstung" - machine translation says "Cotton with silicone equipment".)

I do have a full shot of it, here's that:

The buttons are made of old, darkened brass. Nothing to be found on the lapels, except on the right side there is a button to hold down the lapel and on the other side there is not :P

Thanks again for your help.

With a polyester mix it's post-war. The first polysters weren't used until the late 40s/early 50s (though developed during the war).

Post war "Deutsche Marine" . The single strip looks like Gefreiter (Private 1st Class):

Quote:
Maatanwärter, im Dienstgrad eines Gefreiter Deutsche Marine - Leading seaman candidate, in the rank private first class German navy
Unteroffizieranwärter - Wikipedia

and
Mannschaften

But I haven't figure out what specialism the key indicates (yet!)
