![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ypres 1940 - 1944 photo request I'm looking for photographs (especially German) of the town and area between the above dates (not from the "Hitler tour" though). I especially need pics of some of the "new" German cemeteries in the area such as the ones at Tenbrielen, Diksmude and near Zillebeke. Thanks in advance for any leads that you might be able to give me. Dave

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi Dave - the only publications I have on this relate to the British side of it (OH, BAOR battlefield tour papers, privately published booklet etc). However, I have seen some Flemish books on sale in Ypres which had some photos of the German side; I remember one of an Sdkfz251 going through the Menin Gate, for example.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks Paul. Thats just reminded me - I did see one the other week for sale in the Cloth Hall (a new publication I think). I meant to buy it, but totally forgot! (I'll get it next time I'm there in a few weeks). Do you know if the IFF Doc centre might have something , or is it all WW1 related? Cheers, Dave

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Dave - I am pretty sure they have some material on WW2 as well. Dominiek Dendoeven who works for them (he wrote the book on the Menin Gate) will know.
