Soldier Shows

I’m writing from Lion Television, an independent production company in New York. We are researching stories for the Sixth Season of PBS’s History Detectives - a prime-time series about the discovery, documentation and preservation of historic American artifacts.

I'm researching a recording of the WWII blueprint musical "Hi, Yank". We know that the musical had its premiere at Fort Dix August 7th, 1944.
We're looking for WWII veterans who would have participated in "blueprint" special performances or solider shows and are willing to talk about their experiences.

If you are interested or if you have any information about solider shows, specifically "Hi, Yank," please contact me.
Best,

April Marks
