![]() | 50 RHU Armourers Workshop Hi All This question I guess is aimed at Sapper. I've recently obtained a Royal Engineers photo album (apparently). One of the pictures has a couple of guys standing by a sign with "50 RHU Armourers Workshop" on it, I think this is at the tail end of the war as there is another sign stating "If This Is Your Last Journey Have You Immobilized" so I am guessing its in Northern Europe somewhere. Loads of pictures of various knocked out tanks in the Desert, also an interesting one of a captured Valentine tank with German markings on it knocked out. Can you help with the unit Sapper? ![]() | Reinforcement holding unit Found out what RHU stands for:- Reinforcement holding unit Why were these units created? Did you get sent here before you were given orders/regiment/unit to go? Can't seem to be able to crack this one. Help anyone? Cheers Kieron
