![]() | Time Team UK I love this programme it use to run on discovery channel, but not since a couple of years anymore only Channel 4 which we don't have over here, so recently obtained one of the DVD sets now available. I injoined the programme about diggin up the spitfire in France, lovely when you see how they try to dig it with there background of diggin up pots, or grave sites. ![]() But think its a good thing they also focus on WOII part |

After countless programmes of digging for Grecian Urns and Saxon Cess Pits (no doubt worthy to those with an interest in it!) it was nice to see something a bit closer to my area of interest. Now if they could just go digging in the Forests south of Berlin ![]()

![]() | I know they did one in Holland, but not WOII, since a short time I am working as a historical researcher for an explosive/ammuntion clearance company in the Netherlands and from that I am visiting a lot of archives and sites at the moment for example we are working near Lexesveer (Opheusden) always nice to have a look in the fields. It would be nice to see them to do another dig over here but them WOII ofcourse, I know they did another one in the UK about 2 crashes US marauders, still have to see it. |
