Hi- there is such a card index, but it is not yet in the public domain.

A worthy collection there, Brian!

I don't know of any card indexes to medals issued after World War I. Sorry. EBay has a lot of WW2 medals for sale but like others have said watch out for repros and fakes!

We'll do our best to identify the awards and medals in your cabinet. How many do you have? I might be able to identify a few of them.

There are 15 actual awards that I have been givenover the years.
Some you may find very difficult. Not counting Normandy and Arnhem blazer badges. Just medals and awards.

Just as a guide for you, here is my own personal set of Bog Standard WW2 Medals

From left to right:
1939-1945 Star
Africa Star
Italy Star
Defence Medal
Victory Medal

Note the Africa Star does not bear either the 1st or 8th Army clasps but that's another story
