Canadian War Insurance 1944/45

I came across this newspaper ad from 1944. You know the old saying, someone profits from even the worst situations... guess the insurance companies were willing to offer this policy to give people an ease of minds. (sorry for the file size, didn't want anyone to strain their eyeson the print)

So that appears to be a government scheme?
Presumably they knew the risk to Canadian property was fairly low so it's a handy way to raise more funds for the front.
Wonder if the British indulged in any such scheme, unlikely I'd guess, the Luftwaffe & V weapons can't have made for such an attractive risk assessment.
