Reenacting the Polish Campaign 1939

Some nice pics taken during annual reenactment show last weekend in Poland. Enjoy!

Fantastic pics Laufer. The uniforms and vehicles look especially good.

Great stuff, certainly a new slant on the reenacting theme to me. All the bloke's gear looks good too.

The WZ.34 Armoured car is very nice, hard to see if it's real or a mock up, perhaps as the original looks somewhat crude anyway!
That 'Panzer II' is based on a Schutzenpanzer Kurz Hotchkiss (SPz 11-2) chassis, a very nice job, and I'm guessing the 232 is a mockup too, though such a good one it's got me scratching my head a little . I see there's more fabrication going on in one of the pictures, hopefully we'll see more of this stuff over time.

Cheers,
Adam.

Superb photos very atmospheric some of them.
Oh no, I want to go to Poland now.
Very impressed with the AFVs.
Do they re-enact the Soviets coming in from the East too?
Thanks.

That's the one that made me scratch my head mate, (should have said '231' above... duh...
I think it's a mockup, but a very skilful one, something about the hatch detail and angles of certain areas don't seem quite right, the wheelbase seems a little short too. If it is an erzatz one it's one of the best I've seen.

Here's a real one.
That modern one is a very very good mock-up. The front grill isn't quite right and the drive-shaft is too low, must be made up on a modern truck chassis, very good all the same.

Another made up 231 here.

Looks like they've added more photos since this morning, either that or I missed them as my Polish isn't that good.

You are right. All armored vehicles we can see on these pics are copies. There was one original polish tankette TKS but I can't find single picture of it.
