![]() | Back to my post... Have sent for his records but I'm only at the start of the long wait. Just want to try and find something out a little sooner. The family do have a picture but it is back in Ireland with the Granny. She told me how he used to bring back toys made by the POW's Conor

![]() | She told me how he used to bring back toys made by the POW's I remember a German P.O.W. who worked at a farm near us. He made a toy of a wooden chicken pecking. The chicken worked by a weight suspended under a board and as the weight moved the articulated chicken pecked at the board.
