Just found this, Kyt, so perhaps there were only three Harrows converted and one HP51?

Yes, they are Harrows

The pic was from 1000aircraftphotos.com Uncaptioned apart from the aircraft type, but I knew the Harrow was one of the types used by Alan Cobham' "Flight Refuelling" development company, so I assumed these were what they were.

Anyone know what this machine I snapped over Leicestershire is?
One of the most elegant flying things I've ever seen, amazingly slow compared to the spit/mustang etc.

Cheers David, I'd just this second switched my brain on and looked up the registration... duh.

I see people have been known to jump out of that very aircraft with one of those parachute things.
